Well considering we moved almost everything in the back of a mini-van and borrowed a truck from a friend for just one load too big and heavy for the van I think we did good. We are well on the way to being unpacked and moved in. This was a much bigger undertaking than I had planned, but isn't moving always worse than you think it is going to be? We still have a few things to do like buying new mini-blinds for the whole house, painting that we didn't get to before we moved, hanging shelves and pictures but overall we have accomplished the big goal of moving.
My boys seem to be getting used to it here. I think they would like it much better if we could only get the cable hooked up and a permanent internet connection. It seems like the cable company would hurry up and get it done if they want that deposit money.
I find that it is much quieter here with only five of us as compared to nine of us in the old house. The house is considerably smaller and I have made a good start on organizing it the way I want it. What is that statement about starting off the way you mean to go? Well I mean to keep this place neat as a pin! I am already excited about the holidays coming up and having our first Thanksgiving as a married couple here in our new house.
